An associate consultant with a varied career spanning the armed services, human resources, logistics and operations, has joined CBO Projects.
Andy Carré will provide project management and management consultancy services for our clients, building on the experience he has gained in consultancy and senior operational roles in multiple sectors.
‘I’m very much looking forward to helping clients move forward through change and working with a number of clients on different projects,’ said Mr Carré.
‘I have a range of transferable skills that I believe will be very useful to clients.’
The old Elizabethan, who attended Sandhurst as well as Loughborough University and Portsmouth University, spent 17 years serving as an officer in the British Army from 1989-2006, before becoming a military consultant to the UAE government in Abu Dhabi for seven years. He has also worked for a digital business in Jamaica, and has held several people-focused roles in Guernsey.
‘Andy has a wealth of experience that will be very useful in his role at CBO. He has a proven track record in people-focused positions, and we are delighted to welcome him to the team,’ said CBO director, Ed Gowan.
Outside of work, Mr Carré volunteers at the Youth Tribunal, and is a lead rugby coach at Guernsey Rugby Academy for U16 age group. He is also an infantry officer in the army reserve, and has been selected to take over command of a reserve infantry battalion in 2024.
