In this quarter’s APM magazine, Junior Consultant Yinlong Thatiyanantabhorn was asked to share some of his thoughts and experiences since moving to the island of Guernsey earlier this year and joining the CBO team. His thoughts strongly related to the importance of building relationships, which of course, is what CBO is all about…
In an article on p.65 entitled, Project Me, the APM asked ‘project professionals to share their biggest lessons from 2023, and what the past year has taught them about their work and careers.’ Yinlong explains:
“This year I moved from Thailand to Guernsey. The biggest lesson I have learnt is the value of building strong relationships. I have had the privilege of diving into a new culture and discovering the genuine warmth of the Guernsey people.
Guernsey is a small island where you know everybody, which has highlighted the importance of forging strong relationships. I can see that this is the same for project professionals, where your projects are their own unique islands and that building a genuine rapport with people from diverse backgrounds and knowledge can be a cornerstone of success.”
At CBO, we pride ourselves on being able to build and maintain relationships with all our clients; it’s what we’re known for and why we’re a leading, trusted team of project and change management professionals. Having Yinlong recognise and confirm what many have already acknowledged over the past decade, shows that our unwavering commitment to providing the highest standards of work with both professionalism and personality, really does make us stand out.
