Cheney is a Chartered Project Professional (ChPP) and brings a wealth of experience to CBO. She has successfully led various projects across different sectors, in the public and private domains, in both South Africa and Jersey. Her expertise extends beyond Project Management, encompassing roles as a Strategic Operations Manager and Business Change Manager.

Cheney’s contributions have been instrumental in a diverse range of enriching projects, including but not limited to:

• EU Settlement Scheme (Jersey), ensuring EU citizens were well-informed about their immigration rights during Brexit. The Scheme was nominated for the Customer Service Excellence award.
• Upgrading the Jersey GST system to incorporate changes caused due to Brexit.
• Implementation of an Asset Management system into the Johannesburg Roads Agency.
• FIFA World Cup 2010 “Find Your Way” Application (South Africa), which helped fans navigate public transport to and from the tournament venues.
• Implementation of Hydroponic Growth Chambers for the Department of Agriculture (South Africa)
